The block was redesigned in a second phase to address a short list of client comments. The courtyard in parcel "B" was opened up to the waterfront. There was concern that the previous version had too much of an impenetrable wall of housing on the edge of the park. Opening up the courtyard to the northwest had the effect of allowing more units at least oblique views of the park and the bay. At the same time we increased the number of units on the water's |

edge of the "A" parcel. At the same time we increased the number of units on the water's edge of the "A" parcel. Mid block spaces in both parcels were secured for exclusive use of residents. The mid block alley remains a dedicated public right of way. This second phase also allowed additional time to develop the language of the elevations, which are described here in more detail
